Surface decoding software

Runs with the surface system and handles pressure signal decoding, survey computation and data output. Manual sync, noise spectrum view and raw data playback are all included.

Main functions

• Manual sync — when the decoder loses sync you rebuild it by hand, without shutting the pumps down and circulating again.
• Noise spectrum view — the pressure signal spectrum in real time, so the crew can tell where the noise comes from and at what frequency; history is kept.
• Raw data playback — raw pressure data is recorded throughout and can be decoded again to recover surveys that were lost.
• Survey handling and curve export — survey data and gamma curves export for mud logging and geosteering.

Software screens

A remote demonstration can be arranged: an engineer will walk you through the decoding screen, the spectrum view and the survey list online.
